Gallery 262 is a gallery space that is dedicated to the celebration of art in craft media—wood, metal, glass, gourds, clay, paper, etc. We represent potters, gourd artists, jewelers, wearable artists, and glass artists who work in and around Escondido, California.
Gallery 262 is located inside the Escondido Municipal Gallery/Escondido Arts Partnership, at 262 E. Grand Avenue in Escondido. We participate in the monthly 2nd Saturday Art Walk events where galleries and museums exhibit new works and enjoy artist receptions.
Gallery 262 also offers studio space for working artists. Currently, there are three artists working in the building: Carrie Repking, Daniel Brooks, and Bettina Heinz. Their work can be seen during regular business hours, during 2nd Saturdays or you can contact them directly for viewing at other times.
